Rooms.. the meaning

ROOMS OF OUR HIDDEN GEOMETRIES

How is the title built?

My way of thinking and making art as a closed connection with language. I tend to create my vocabulary with movement, words and sound. What could be the writing of something invisible, unknown. Something that only statement can define. At the moment Proust guide me for his particular attention to describe very specific feelings and statement that his body remember.

Rooms, was inspired by the reading of the Arabian nights. On of the stories tell the description of a magical castle which got one hundred rooms in which each of them has got its own atmosphere, its own stories, its own breath. The all book is a collection of similar rooms of different worlds and characters. Rooms, suggest then my attention for the place we live. Dancing can emerge without a room to move. It is the house of the body. It is the memory that each part of our body contain.

Hidden for being aware that there is always a tangible and untangible part of our live, of Art. I am not looking for one meaning but to show an opening space to the audience to interprete with its own story.

Geometries, for my interest of the structural body, fascia tissue connection. How each muscles are linked to each other building a chain of lines making them moving as a whole rather as disconnected. Our all body/mind structure is linked and it this link that I try to show. Geometries is also for my Choreutics influences of Laban research which analyse the use of space.

Hidden Geometries for the architecture that every single things has on its atomic dimension. Discovering that any matter (sound, object..) has an underline structure. It is science but never delimit a knowledge as stiffed. It is a departure for understanding and imagination.

Our, because, it is the human being that interest me first. Our,because, I am never alone. Dance is to be shared. And we share throught communication, throught Art, throught body language, throught vibration.
